1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Gauri Idols website (gauriidols.com) or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Products & Descriptions
All products are handcrafted. Minor variations in colour, texture, and finish are inherent to the handmade nature of idol components and are not considered defects. Product images are representative β actual colours may vary slightly due to screen calibration and photographic lighting.
3. Pricing
All prices are in Indian Rupees (βΉ) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges are calculated separately based on your delivery pincode, order weight, and shipping zone. Prices are subject to change without notice.
4. Order Placement & Payment
Orders are confirmed only after successful payment processing via Razorpay. On successful payment, you will receive an Order ID which serves as proof of purchase. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion with a full refund.

All design, product names, images, text, and graphics on this website are the property of Gauri Idols. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
Gauri Idols shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the specific order in question.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.
Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to process your order:
- Name β for order and delivery purposes
- Phone Number β primary identifier for orders and tracking
- Delivery Address & Pincode β for shipping
- Email (optional) β for order receipts
- Payment Info β processed securely by Razorpay, not stored by us
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process, confirm, and ship your orders
- To provide order status and tracking updates
- To handle return and refund requests
- To display verified buyer reviews (phone not shown publicly)
- To contact you via WhatsApp for order updates (with consent)
3. Phone Number as Identity
We use your phone number as the primary identifier for order history. There is no login/password system β your phone number provides access to your orders. This keeps things simple and secure. We do not share your number with third parties for marketing.

- Supabase β Secure data storage
- Cloudinary β Return video storage
Each of these services has their own privacy policies.
5. Data Security
Your data is stored in encrypted databases with access controls. Payment details are never stored on our servers β all transactions are processed by Razorpay's secure gateway. We implement industry-standard security measures.
6. Cookies
We use minimal cookies and localStorage to store your cart and preferences for a better experience. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.

Shipping Policy
1. Courier Partner
We ship exclusively through Delhivery for reliable, trackable nationwide delivery. Real-time serviceability and estimated delivery time are checked at checkout using your pincode.
2. Shipping Rates
Shipping is calculated based on:
- Zone β Based on destination pincode (A = closest, E = farthest)
- Weight β Face: ~400g, Cloth body: ~300g, Plaster body: ~1.2kg, Full Body: ~2kg, Metal stand: ~1.5kg (+300g packing per item)
- COD Surcharge β 2% of total (minimum βΉ30) if Cash on Delivery is selected
The exact shipping cost is shown at checkout before payment.
3. Dispatch Time
Orders are processed and dispatched within 24β48 hours of payment confirmation (excluding Sundays and public holidays). During festival season (JulyβSeptember), dispatch may take up to 3 days.
4. Delivery Time
- Zone A (Nearby cities) β 1β2 working days
- Zone B (Maharashtra & nearby states) β 2β3 working days
- Zone CβD (Rest of India) β 3β5 working days
- Zone E (Remote/Northeast) β 5β7 working days
5. Tracking
Once dispatched, your AWB (tracking number) will be available on the tracking page. Enter your phone number to see the tracking link. You can also track directly on the Delhivery website.
6. Packaging
Every item is individually bubble-wrapped and placed in a sturdy corrugated box. Plaster faces receive foam padding on delicate areas. The package is sealed with heavy-duty tape and clearly labelled "FRAGILE β Handle with Care".
Returns & Refund Policy
1. Return Window
Return requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. After 48 hours, returns will not be accepted under any circumstances. You can submit a return via the Returns page.
2. Unboxing Video Requirements
- Must be recorded before opening the package β start from the sealed/taped state
- Must show the full unboxing β package opening through complete inspection without cuts
- Must be unedited and continuous β no cuts, filters, or edits
- Upload to the return form on our website (Cloudinary secure upload)
3. Accepted Return Reasons
- β Significant damage to plaster or fiber parts during transit
- β Wrong item received (different from what was ordered)
- β Missing parts from the confirmed order
- β Colour variation (minor variations are inherent to handmade products)
- β Change of mind returns
- β Custom/builder orders (non-returnable)
- β Items damaged due to customer handling after delivery
4. Refund Process
- Submit return request with unboxing video via our website
- Admin reviews the video within 24β48 hours
- If approved, refund is initiated to original payment method
- Refund appears in your account within 3β5 business days
- You will be notified via WhatsApp at every step
5. Non-Returnable Items
- Custom builder sets (personalized combinations)
- Items on sale or purchased with discount codes
- Items returned after 48-hour window
- Items without valid unboxing video
- Damaged post-delivery (not in transit)
